I am getting Zhu Zhu pets for my kid as Christmas gift this year!
As a parent, hamsters are one of those animals every child wants at some point. My three year old daughter wanted a hamster for Christmas last year, but I didn’t think she’s old enough to take care of the small vulnerable pet yet. A real pet hamster is a great gift for kids, but I wasn’t convinced that a three-year-old girl is ready to clean the cage, give it fresh water and food, and make sure it’s clean.
This is why I was so excited when I came across this product called Zhu Zhu Pets! They are all the fun of a pet Hamster without the mess!
What Are Zhu Zhu Pets?
Zhu Zhu Pets (pronounced zoo zoo) are a set of toy hamsters which look and feel just likes real pet hamsters. What’s special about them is that they are artificially smart and is capable of talk and move around in their own playsets.
Zhu Zhu Pets include two play modes: nurturing mode and adventure mode. In nurturing mode, hamsters gently coo and purr, while in adventure mode, the hamsters explore their habitat with intelligent audio and mechanical responses to various habitat stimuli.
There are 5 different Zhu Zhu pet hamsters – NumNums, Chunk, Mr Squiggles, Pipsqueak, and Patches. Each of them has its own unique personality and whimsical sounds!
Why Zhu Zhu Pets?
There are several reasons. First, the Zhu Zhu pets require no maintenance — no feeding, no poop to clean up, and you and you can easily turn them off.
Second, the Zhu Zhu pets are really cute. Their artificial intelligent really set them apart from most plush toys on the market. Your kids are going to have lots of fun watching the hamsters travel through the habitat and make sweet little sounds along the way. They even make toilet-flushing or teethbrushing sounds when they enter the bathroom and sleeping noises and alarm-clock sounds when they go into their bedroom. It’s simply adorable watching them!
And finally, there are over a dozen of habitat add-ons for the Zhu Zhu hamsters to play in and explore.. giving unlimited play options to the kids!
